I have worked within an array of businesses throughout my career. One thing that has been difficult for me to showcase within a resume is the way transferable skills and freelanced work have played a role and why I have been able to bounce around fields.

For example, I have worked at a Medical company that needed an C-level Administrative Assistant - being someone who loves tech, being self initiative, and always looking for improvements within any role I take; I was able to see that the company website needed upgrades and rebranding. (New company / Starting )

So, though I was within an Administrative position I was able to contract for the added work of web development and marketing audits + strategy. Within this role, I also learn how to Credential physicians and eventually transitioned to being a Credentialing Specialist by being able to automate a lot of the process that I was doing as the administrative assistant.

Why do I share this?

Because throughout my career I have always held a freelance spirit. That though I may hold formal corporate positions at times within those roles, I would have side projects in or outside of it. - clearly only had if I felt the need and knew it would not impede my work quality.
